4 Shows That Have Stolen #NYFW So Far

It has been two days since #NYFW started, and as per usual, our Instagram feeds and email boxes have been flooded with overwhelmingly stunning looks from more known designers like Zac Posen, Bottega Venetta, Kate Spade and up-and-coming brands like Haus Alkire and Miaou.

The trends that most designers are setting aflame this coming fall are tailored garments made from colorful silk, lots of bright colors and flowers that really ease our minds from this long winter that seems to never end.

In the midst of all the extravaganza, four designers stood out the most from among the crowd, Juicy Couture making the list accmpanied by MILLY, Raf Simmons, and Jason Wu.

MILLY

Co-founder and Creative Director of MILLY, Michelle Smith brought her vision for an empowered woman through vibrant monochromatic colors that embraced different values and individuality. From runway was paraded by models strutting monochromatic head-to-toe pieces from magenta, crimson, and a touch of jaune rocked by the effortless Lineisy Montero.

Raf Simons

Couturier Raf Simons presented men's fashion as it's rarely ever done. Textured trench coats, sweaters intricately cut unconventionally and to top it off, smooth, colored leather gloves that accented each outfit. The setting was the most exhilarating and filled with flowers and wine bottles that brought the personality of the outfits to life.

Jason Wu

Jason Wu most likely had all of the birds on earth humming a tune with his flower garden themed show. Wu also made black look ever so chic with ruffled dresses and pleated blazers. The silk ensembles flourished as the girls walked down the flower wonderland.

Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture made an exceptionally remarkable entrance for its first runway show during NYFW. Glitter. Pastel pink. Fur, and track suits. The brand stuck to its brand but expanded even more by adding chic, flowery and even tailored suits to their collection.
